What was the highlight of Aqua Bella Hotel

Very good stay.

We stayed at the hotel one night before dropping our rental car at Taipei Airport. The room was small but well-designed. Reception at the front desk was excellent, and they physically showed us where the car parking was. The beakfeast was also very good, and we appreciated the in-room bath. We found a lot of opportunities for eating in a major street nearby.

Great place to soak for a night in Beitou

Super nice staff, great Chinese style breakfast (no buffet), fruit in the room, very central, very clean, great to soak in our own hot spring bath tub, bed very comfortable!

The "garden view" window was behind the bath tub and wasn't transparent - so not really a view...

Very Good

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is very spacious, and the hot spring tub is very big.

I think that their hot spring water is pretty diluted? The water has practically no smell, and my skin didn't feel as soft as it would normally after soaking in a Beitou hot spring. Also, be prepared to climb up a long set of stairs if you're coming from Xinbeitou station, which might be a bit tricky if you're coming with luggage like I was.

Aqua Bella is a pleasant enough experience but once is enough.

Nice location, comfortable room, friendly staff, great hot tub, and decent breakfast.

There are definitely nicer hotels in Taipei for the same price.

Fantastic hot spring onsen hotel in Beitou

The service by the staff is exceptional - the best I have experienced so far. Thank you for the free room upgrade! The upgraded room is so spacious and comes with multiple features - safety deposit box, mini fridge with drinks, fruit bowl etc. The staff even replenished the drinks, fruit and amenities after cleaning my room on Day 2. There is a 7/11 opposite the hotel and a coin laundry along the same street.

I stored my luggage at the reception after checking out - I was surprised the staff didn't provide a collection tag or verify my identity upon collection. It was also a pretty steep (but short) climb to the hotel from the train station.

Good

The hot spring in the room was really nice. The facilities looked really beautiful but not necessarily IG worthy.

Found a cockroach in the bathroom. Not a huge problem but just a minor inconvenience. The breakfast was too big. I would have preferred self-choice.

Good hotspring bath, tedious check in procedure

The hotspring bath tub is exceeding expectation. They provide us in-room coffee machine and serving dessert. Staff is friendly

Emergency lighting and the noise from the fridge are disturbing sleep quality. The tedious and non-value added check-in procedure takes long time. We still need to scan passport and type name after we made payment to staff. This is not fun process especially hotspring hotel check in timing usually later than standard timing 15:00pm. Breakfast is under expectation, variety of choice is just ok, don’t have flower tea compared to other 3 star hotel. Coffee serving at breakfast is just so so, only two types. When people comes to hotspring hotel, they are coming for staycation, facility, food and good night sleep are important. Only hotspring facility is meeting expectation for me

Lucky to enjoy a free upgrade for our stay.

Lucky to enjoy a free upgrade for our stay. Great thanks to the staff for helping us to deal with a slight payment issue.

Initially unaware of the existence of staircase on the shortcut to the hotel from MRT. Should have expected to roll our luggage uphill for around ten minutes to reach the hotel by foot.

Great price for the room and service! Nice getaway.

The hot spring tub is much larger than expected. (you can choose regular water or the hot spring water for the bath). You can fit 2 adults and maybe a toddler. The amenities are complete and was impressed with the packaging and selection.

The check-in time is after 5pm. It would be better if we can check in earlier.

The bedroom is right beside the bathroom and I'm very surprised there's no dehumidifier/vent in there. It gets pretty steamy if you leave the door open. I remember at one point every single item I had in the bedroom had a layer of mist on it...

Enjoyable stay! Yummy and fresh breakfast.

Huge bath room with comfortable bath supplies, including bath salt. It's so enjoyable. Fresh and yummy breakfast. This was my first time to have freshly made guava juice that's so amazing. They offered good variety of food, such as Taiwanese traditional congee, scrambled eggs, bread, salad. The food could meet different needs. My room was upgraded and we're served a free bottle of wine. The night snack (sweet tang yuan dumpling) was pleasing!

Very very minor - it's hard to find a TV remote control at the first time. It's put it the closet. :p
